Welcome to AKMC Charity Shop page; it was established in November 2009. The charity shop provides services to the vulnerable and the families in the community. The Charity shop is a “centre” for the community, providing not just clothes and Bric & Brac, but family support (advocacy, home essentials & pastoral care). The charity shop homes Antioch Food Bank providing emergency food supply. We have a small café which is in conjunction with the foodbank.
We Assist in:
- Second Furniture for a new home and essentials.
- Clothing for newborn babies, young children and vulnerable families
- We assist Persons with learning difficulties or English language barrier and advocate for independent living in the community.
- Working alongside other agencies in the community to meet the needs of vulnerable adults and children.

AKMC charity shop also houses the Foodbank point in Cookstown. The Foodbank has become a great support to those in our community. We at AKMC will endeavour to meet the needs of the vulnerable in our community.
We receive support from partners and organisations in the community. This helps in the continuation of our services to the community.
